    The range is actually huge…depends a lot on the type of crust (pan, thin and crispy, traditional) and the toppings. Also, sizes of pizzas have changed.

    Most of the major chains have nutritional content on their Web sites so that you can actually customize it to the pizza you want to eat and find out specific calorie and nutritional (or lack thereof) content.

    Well, according to the “Nutrition Information” page on the website of the Sbarro Pizza chain at sbarro.com their average slice of pizza with a topping or two is about 500-600 calories or even more!! Of course, these numbers can vary wildly according to how big the slice is and what’s on it, but you can probably figure 300-500 calories per slice as a universal average. Durer S
