What can I serve at our regular friday night hang outs other than just pizza?
My friends and I (usually) hangout every Friday at one of our houses. This week it is my house and we are having a Wii video game night. The last two times they have come over, I had served pizza. But now I want something different. I was thinking pizza rolls, pizza bagel bites or cocktail weenies (pigs in a blanket). Got any other good ideas as to what we can have to eat?

Anything that won’t make too much of a mess really. Snack platters are always good, and a good alternative to Pizza is meatloaf. And for dessert, get fudge bars, because ice cream is hard to scoop and will probably make a huge mess. Cheetos are a no no as well because the cheese sticks to your fingers and it sticks to the Wii Remote. (trust me) Meatloaf is good because most everyone likes it, and you can’t really get messy with it. Tacos is another alternative, but they are kind of messy. Some things to stay away from are spaghetti and lasagna, because they are really easy to spill and stain clothing. Pigs in a blanket, like you suggested is also really good, but remember the ketchup and mustard can get a little bit messy. When my friends come over, we usually order pizza, but we mix up the toppings for some variety. alltimelow371
Do it yourself tacos–just put the fixin’s out and let everyone make their own. Cupcake’s Princess
When i go to my friends parties we normally have either Hamburgers, Burritos, Tacos, Pizza, Fish n Chips or even Spaghetti!
I hope this helps Heidi

There are plenty of different Burrito’s, Chimichanga’s, Taquito’s, etc. that are as simple to heat up as a pizza. Couple bags of chips and some salsa and you’ve got a mexican cuisine. brddg1974
Boys like hot wings, don’t know about girls, hot dogs, have wieners in crock pot and have all the fixins’ out in seperate containers. Do a big batch of fries, or have chips or those potato string chip things. Cheese ball, chicken salad sandwiches, cheese platter or veggie tray. Steam a purple cabbage, while hot roll outside leaves under and make it look like a flower, cut out center and put dip in it. Looks different, have assorted vegs. not too many broc, caul and bite sized carrots with a couple french breads slice in center and put garlic butter in wrap in foil and heat on very low heat for as long as you want, how hot, etc.Dip use one packet of onion flavored soup mix to one container sour cream, taste before, if too strong may want to use two sour creams.Choose any of the above, Can buy chicken salad and stretch it, add chopped apple for zing and can use a chopped fine boiled egg to stretch it,Extra pickle relish if you like. Pasta salad!!! Big toss salad, have greens in alarge container and have other stuff seperate and friends can fix like they like it. Loaded or cheese
baked potatos with this. Can put potatos in oven early, wash good, coat with little virgin olive oil, mixed with salt, makes them better. Also do this to cherry tomatoes for salad. Have ranch, thousand island and italian sauce for salad. These are basic three. If make wings, don’t know if this is for girls/guys/ or both. Get some regular cheap hot sauce and go to Mexican section of g. store and get green habenera sauce, very hot. Guys–tacos, easy. Jenny Lynne
