We cooked a pizza and left it over night. Stupid idea. It’s covered in like crust and crumbs, but you’re not supposed to wash it. Are you supposed to just soak it in water?

The.Hackers asked:

I want to slide the pizza off the paddle and onto the pizza stone (if it make any difference its ceramic pizza stone). I don’t wan’t the pizza to stick to the stone either.
Normaly I use parchment paper under the pizza but I am currently out of parchment paper (I ran out a while ago and forgot about it) :p
Also, do you have any suggestions on how to get the pizza from the pizza stone to the pizza padle.

How do I get a soft floppy uncooked pizza with all its toppings on to a hot pizza stone?

I thought about sliding it on flour but the stone manufacturer says “no flour – it will burn”. If you put the base onto the stone first it is cooked by the time the toppings have all been added. Polenta? Not everyone wants polenta on their pizza so I’d rather not.

I really would like to know how long it is “safe” sitting there? Can it be overnight? I’ve never had great success making pizza and I would like to try again. I have a really nice pizza stone from Pampered Chef as well as a roller. Help?!?

Can anyone recommend a good quality pizza stone? I am looking for a good heavy one (round or square). Mosty of the ones that I have seen appear to be very thin. Any advice?

I use a pizza stone and the highest temperature allowed, but the bottoms of the pies come out hard, not soft and pliable.

Beefcake asked:

I have a pizza stone, my oven does not work so I want to grill a pizza. How long should I leave the stone in the grill for? I don’t want too too crusty crust , just kinda chewy at least. My gas grill has 2 tiers of heat.

Is it better to cook a pizza on a baking sheet or just on a baking pan?

DiA asked:

okay so while i am waiting for my pizza to rise,
I was wondering whether it is okay to cook the pizza on an oiled baking sheet when cooking in on a baking pan?
OR should i just oil the pan and cook the pizza that way since i don’t have a pizza stone?

Is my phrasing confusing? Sorry. Please ask if you need me to rephrase it. thank you.
