Is this enough to tip the pizza delivery guy?
I got one large pizza and the cost plus tax is $12.70. I was planning on tipping him $3? Is that not enough? And also (I’m only 13 so yeah) do I just give him his tip after I’ve paid the regular amount, or do I just slip it in his hand with the other money?

$3 is fine. I’d honestly just give him $15 and tell him to keep the change. Professor Farnsworth
A 10% tip would be @ $1.20. A 20% tips would be @ $2.40. So, $3 is very generous. I would include it with the money you give him for the cost of the pizza.
That tip will go a long way to help pay for gas and the upkeep of his car.
Good for you! Daisy
Well they do get paid for delivering the pizza but if you want to tip him then 3 bucks is fine. Tip him after you pay for the pizza. Luta J
Three dollars is really quite a nice tip. You certainly don’t need to give more than that. You actually could just give him a ten and a five, and tell him thanks, and that would be a $2.30 tip. But, if you insist on giving him $3.00, let him give you your change, and then hand him the three dollars. No matter how you do it, he will appreciate the tip. tropnhof.
Well, I, personally, would just give him $15 and say, “Keep the change.”
If you’re going to tip him separately though, give him, say, $20 for the bill and then, when he hands you the change, count out a few singles and hand it to him separately, saying, “And this is for you. Thanks!” That way he knows you tipped him, rather than having to figure it out later in the car.
Good luck!… ☺ Cartoon Head
$3.00 for less than a $13.00 bill is a very good tip. Just give him the money and tell him to keep the change. Once you are known as a good tipper – you will get your pizzas quicker. Just a note – TIP means – To Insure Promptness ☺ Good tippers always get better service. I’ve been a server and bartender for years. I always remember good tippers and so do others in the service industry. Just remember to tip at least 20% and you’re doing well TaraBear
Don’t belittle the poor guy by handing him 3 bucks after you paid for the pizza. Give it to him with the other money. I use to work as a box delivery boy and I felt akward when they handed me a couple bucks and they look at me and smile like 2 bucks suppose to change my life and make me happy The expected me to jump for joy like ” geeee thaaanks mr” NO FAT CHICKS
$3 dollars is fine, and just give him the $15 and tell him to keep the change. That’s actually a really good tip, because its 30%. I’m a waiter and its impossible to get people to tip that well most of the time Wirerat
i think you

$3 is a great tip for that small of an order. Contrary to popular belief, pizza guys do NOT get paid much, if any, for deliveries other than minimum wage. Some places pay 50 cents at most for each stop, but that’s rare. Remember, they’re a waiter, so treat them as you would if you went out to eat. J
I tip depending on the weather at the time. If the weather is crappy, I tip 50% if the weather is good I tip 25%
Just hand the dude 15 bucks and that will be fine.
For the Rebecca loser cunt…. You are a worthless pile of donkey crap, and I hope people who deliver your food spit all over it. Jason
